The breakfast was complete and had a variety of items to choose from including great muffins. The front desk staff was extremely accommodating despite a few issues we had in the parking lot. The staff was incredibly helpful. The rooms were cleaned pretty well, there are some maintenance issues that need to be addressed for upkeep, but overall by far the best Stay in the area. The pool was always pretty busy, but I don’t know if it was people that were staying at the hotel. That was a little disconcerting. We decided not to even try to swim. The gym was very very small but usable. And it’s a pretty convenient location. There is always fresh fruit, water and coffee. Always a great bonus right as you go up the elevator. We will definitely stay again when we visit Family.

It was one of those moments of opportunity with weather approaching. Got a quick booking at a good value. The room was excellent, and the staff and facilities matched. We had been on a long trip and had stayed in several other properties but this Comfort Inn in Story City was the emerald of our trip. Breakfast was the best of all the places we had stayed on a trip that covered over 3500 miles. As we usually travel US 35 from Texas to Minnesota, this will be a place we will look for on our next trip. Thank you to the staff for making our stay exceptional.

Peaceful and quiet ( I been going to xtreme stress so that peacefulness help alot) Until the roof reparation team began to make lots of noises ,but I put some sooting music after the ambulance came to make sure my heart was OK ( I got anxiety attack right after they start working but it really was a combination of a bad news in my errants that day and the sudden loud banging on my side of the room.. ) but I am ok ,please don't worry .. I love the hotel and the staff ..

Everything about this place was a step above expectations. Bacon and sausage for breakfast, eggs not bland, towels soft, shower hot, bed firm, several premium channels and a counter bell with some personality. Comfort Inns are usually good. This one was really good.

I travel frequently for work. It was a nice refreshing change to actually have scrambled eggs and meat for breakfast. Most hotels "hot breakfast" is nothing but carbs..... oatmeal or waffles. I am one who needs protein for breakfast and I appreciated this.
